I took part in the final stages of the Dario meter trial, just pre-launch. It's a neat little thing, but it does mean that to test your sugars you must have your phone, or it's a no-go, so whilst it looks like a great little gizmo you could tuck into a small space, if compared with other testing kit, it becomes bulky, when you add the phone to the equation.
Of course, some of us are perma0tethered to our phones, but should one ever forget it, testing is out of the question.
For a T2, controlling their diabetes with diet, metformin or other straightforward meds, that might not a be problem, but for anyone who needs to test prior to driving, for example, they could be in a fix. Yes, they could keep a spare meter in their car glove box, but no phone, no test....
When the trial ended, I reverted back to my previous meter, but those are just my feelings.
