Diabetes UK Channel Swim Death

    Just read in the news about a young British woman, Susan Taylor, just died attempting to swim The Channel to raise money for Rainbows Hospice and Diabetes UK. Tragic news, RIP !

    I just heard this too..the sort of news that makes me put my hand over my face in sorrow..simply tragic and unfair! :(

    Such a shame. I saw a picture of her and she looked so young and healthy. Tragic loss of life :(

    I hadn't realised she was raising money for diabetes! It's a shame they didn't make her charities more prominent in the news reports but that's a small matter. It is a horrible thing to happen, especially to someone who was trying to make a difference and improve the lives of other people. Very sad!
