Diet Plan B

A month ago having been told I might be diabetic and having been put on Eucreas (missing out the diet and Metformin alone stages) I decided to delete sugar, potatoes, pasta, pastry and bread from my diet.
It worked very well. So far i've lost about 10 pounds. I can't see where it has gone from. I keep checking I've still got two buttocks.
Then first three days of December I felt absolutely rotten -worst for at least ten years (except when I had vertigo four years ago. And I don't mean fear of heights either).

So I went out for Prawn Cocktail and Gammon egg and chips. And felt massively better. And invented my new Diet Plan B. I have stopped being obsessed with cutting all the villains out. I have decided on Drastic Reduction (TM). Or the Partial Portion Plan (TM)

The prawns came with a circle of French bread. So I pulled off an inch of crust and left the rest. The gammon egg pineapple and salad got eaten and five french fries -small ones not the four inch long ones and left the rest. Burgers are quite OK if I leave the bun. Tuna Mayo and salad sandwich is messy when I remove the bread.

Puddings are deleted from now on -but I did get a teaspoon and nick a spoonful off my wife's plate. God-I felt smug after that.
This is how I plan to chop my carbs as hard as is practical and stop obsessing which I caught myself doing.

B/G tests? Maybe in another week. Have to beat 120 which was my last one --down from 139 and 159 prior to that.
Home made Chicken curry tonight--no rice. Oh I've just had my mind changed by my OH --now it is Moroccan Chicken with cous-cous. That won't be very good -it should have two tablespoons of honey in it. Oh well it will have to be just one. A 50 percent Drastic Reduction (TM) The cous-cous will be one spoonful, or maybe even none,

I realised that I do not stop at every layby to check my tyre pressures. I don't call in every service area to check my oil.So a test every month will do. After all my GP said see me in a year after giving me Eucreas so obviously once a year is OK with her.

Thanks for reading.
