Do you have a treatment for diabetic foot ulcers. That can be done at home?

Treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. I use saline to clean the wound and then use betadine. Then cover the wound with gauze. Other than this method, what other wound treatments should I use? That can be done at home. Effective in preventing viruses and bacteria. Reduces inflammation of the wound.

Hi Phumi and welcome

I would strongly advise not trying to treat these yourself at home. You should get a professional medic to look at them.
I would like to thank you for your advice. Of course I have seen a doctor. I would like to know if there is a better alternative treatment for diabetic wounds and that I can do at home.

I don't know of one - I have never had an ulcer or similar - and I wouldn't try to manage it myself.

Having had serious problems with my feet I would definitely recommend professional help and care. GP should be first point of call this should result in seeing a Podiatrist , who at the end of the day are foot specialist.Once they are involved they “ should “ be able treat and refer should any other specialists need to be involved,

from someone who has been getting treatment since mid-august for a foot ulcer, i would HIGHLY recommend speaking to your doctor.

i got referred to podiatry at my local hospital by my gp practice, i'm in once a week getting it checked over and they can check for any changes etc. I've been on antibiotics on and off the last 12 weeks as there has been infections. Currently having to attend daily now for an IV drip antibiotic as my foot isn't getting any better and is currently infected.

IMO you don't want to take any risks

I assume that you are not in the UK and so have no access to the NHS and may have to pay for your medical care.
We cannot diagnose, not recommend medical treatment, just discuss personal experience.
Is your search for alternative treatment due to cost and difficulty accessing your Doctor's services?
Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Thank you for your advice. I have always seen a doctor and been prescribed antibiotics. Long-term use of antibiotics has side effects on the body. Internal treatment can also help but it takes a long time. You have to take good care of your liver and control your diet. In the past, I used to use products that contained alcohol or iodine to treat wounds. But that may prevent bacteria but it is a substance that destroys tissue. The wound did not heal. Now I have a way to treat diabetic wounds from the outside. The product can help prevent viruses and bacteria. It also heals wounds and creates new tissue. At the same time, it is called 2 in 1. Both prevent germs and heal wounds and create new tissue.
I did not take the risk of using the product. And I do not believe in the experience of other users. I just have to study and really understand the ingredients in the product. Then I will use the product with confidence and the results are very good. Treating wounds from the inside of the body is good. But treating from the outside of the body also helps the wound heal faster.

I wish you a healing wound.
