Hi, diabetes runs through the family (dad has it and so did my grandad).

I've had some symptoms which I thought could be related to a condition, and I'd like an opinion please before going to the doctor - don't want to waste GP time.

Symptoms: Headache/migraines, after eating a heavy carb meal at night, I get heavy cramp in the legs which feel like my leg needs amputating (they feel heavy), a hot tingling sensation in the hands which happens every other week or so, brain foggy, lethargy / fatigue (just feel dead), stomach pain after eating heavy meal and before, bright red blood in stool, neck pains, I just feel really tired and wake up late in the evening. I'm 18 years old BTW. Sometimes chest pain and pain in the heart when getting up or moving.

Thank you for any comments I appreciate it.

We cannot diagnose here and can only suggest you go and see your Doctor. I would go sooner rather than later, especially with bright red blood in your stool. You won’t be wasting the Dr’s time.

100% agree See your dr about the blood in stools. Not in a few weeks but soon - as in make the call tomorrow. At your age it’s probably not a panic and there’s plenty of non scary causes but always best to be safe not sorry. As for the rest of it again at your age type 2 is unlikely but does happen in some cases. Tell the dr and ask for a check up.
