Doxazosin side effects anyone?

I've recently had my Doxazosin increased from 2mg to 4mg and I've started experiencing some side effects (one is a slightly embarrassing gentleman's problem). I'm experiencing what I think is postural hypotension - light headedness when I stand up. The embarrassing problem is that I've started experiencing a 'dry climax' when I do the deed. Everything works and feels okay - there's just no ejaculation!

I'm seeing my GP next week but I'm slightly concerned this might be a more serious problem.

Any experiences anyone?

Hi type2,
Doxazosin affects the prostate, I guess you are taking it for hypertension?

Whatever the doctor says insist on a PSA check, don't be put off...the result comes back within a few days...just hope it is very low.
