Driving Test & Hypo?

Hi all,

I'm nearing the date that of my driving practical test, and I'm worried about what would happen if I went low during it. The DVLA states it takes 45 minutes to recover from a hypo and that is essentially the whole time of the test.
Would I be re-charged the £62? Or would they understand? It's a difficult one, I would essentially be 'wasting' their time but of course I wouldn't have purposely tried to do that.
I haven't gone low in any of my lessons yet and I passed my theory test last week without a hypo so touchwood it won't happen!

Alternatively, you just make sure you aren't in a position to go low in the test by making sure that you eat something carby beforehand.

This is one of those occasions where you should consider running your bg level in the 8-10mmol/l range precisely so that you don't have issues. For a short period, there is nothing wrong with that approach.
