hi can anyone tell me if a driving license thaht is restricted by type 1 allows you to drive a long wheel base van or can we only drive cars thank you

It all depends on what Category Licence you hold and the MAM (maximum authorised mass) of the particular vehicle. Some more information would be helpful please.

If you are type one I think you can drive up to 7.5 tonnes without a trailer.
I have to apply for C1+E every year which allows me to tow a trailer plus 7.5 tonnes
