Euro 2016 Football

Ok, on the eve of the Euro footie kicking off tomorrow.
Here is my top four to contest the semi-finals.

1. Belgium
2. France
3. Germany
4. England.

I do think Belgium will win it!
If England can stop the goals going in, I think a semi final place is a reality.
But Woy has to pick the right players and not listen to the media and pundits.

Hope everyone enjoys the games and its a good competition!

Oh Nosher... Hope you not put a bet on the teams reaching semi finals.. Think I'll go to the bookies tomorrow and put bet on Germany losing!! -lol!!

I'm legendary for my predictions on the footie threads!

I believe that since that great result last night, I'm now going to back Germany myself

No comment :D

That game was something else, Wales thoroughly deserved their win as they played with grit, determination, pride & passion, the England team should be hanging their heads in shame after watching last nights game.

I really hope Wales go on to beat Portugal and get to the Final.

I absolutely agree - and what a brilliant goal from Robson Kanu :)

Italy v Germany what can i say it was a good match and both sides had chances to put it to bed without the need for penalties. Still Germany managed it and face France or Iceland. I think it will be France v Portugal in the final and France running out the winners 2-1

I would love to see the Welsh in finals.. My hubby says they stand a healthy chance in the semi's. I'll be cheering all the way for them...

Poor Buffon was gutted, penalties is a cruel way to decide a match.

Think it was one of the worst penalty shoot outs I've seen!

I think Italy played for penos!
It just didn't work this time!

Looking forward to the game tonight!
Can Iceland do it again?
My heart says yes!
My head says no!

I'll go with what the wife says!

4-0, making easy work of it are France

As an Italy supporter (for that game anyway, family background and all that), if I didn't know any better, I'd swear blind that game was fixed - when those penalties were taken, the air was turned blue in the ladybird homestead! (pun unintended). Saw one goal from France tonight and turned it over. Meh.:grumpy:

Got to commend Iceland on scoring 2 good goals v France.

I think that they and their supporters (and also the Welsh, and both flavours of Irish) have brought a touch of much-needed pride and commitment to the championships, amongst the over-paid, under-performing and whiny primadonnas from some of the so-called "elite" footballing nations. Yes England, I'm talking to you......

Watched the Wales game on Friday at the Euro Shuttle terminal.....like a lot of Welsh fans who only got that far due to a 5 hour delay because of a train breakdown in the tunnel. Felt very sorry for them having bought tickets for the match (one man paid £500 for his) and then not being able to get there in time.

I think Wales will struggle against Portugal without Aaron Ramsey. I hope they win though.

Some good offers on at Iceland btw
Yeah,
But England Keepers don't seem to save anything there!
