the confusion about what and what not to eat, provided by others who know it all!
I've been diagnosed almost a year. I have been trying to keep my BS levels below 10, but just lately my levels seem to go up significantly after my evening meal. I'm wondering if the 'honeymoon' period could last a year, or is it something else. ? I use Humalog 1:10 and Lantus at 10pm.

Hi Susie
It could be your Lantus that is trailing off, some people need to split the dose as they find it has a more 18 hour profile which could be what is causing your post evening meal high.

Or , yes your ratio's may need adjusting as you may have come to the end of your HM period, you will need to maybe increase your Bolus ratio first,, just for your evening meal .A lot of us have different ratio's, unit's per grams of carbs at different times of the day. If this does not work speak to your DSN about a Lantus split and see if that helps.
Good luck :D
