Evidence for testing in type 2 pre/post prandial.

Can anyone link me to studies or papers etc that demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of type 2 testing (before and after eating wars 2mmol that is widely recommended in here please). Where does this advice stem from. I seem to be coming up empty.

Would like to be able to put evidence to people saying it doesn’t work and is invalid, waste of time etc.

Part of the problem is a lack of studies, due to being disbelieved in the first place about carbs and control.

If scientists were allowed to do such studies then that would affect the dietary advice, and the necessity for testing equipment for type 2. The knock on affect would be huge, and hurt the industries funding research about diabetes.

I hope some studies exist. Proper ones. Most of the evidence I have read and hear over nearly a decade of low carbing is anecdotal, unfortunately this doesn't count. It's a catch 22 situation.

Dismiss anecdotal evidence, don't do proper studies, and then say there is no proof.
