celery, not eating chocolate
Just a reminder, I'm type 2 taking 3x500mg Metformin, plus 100mg sitagliptin.
My morning fasting BG levels have dropped from 7.8 to 5.6 since starting on the sitagliptin 3 weeks ago.
I have also tried to cut back on my carbs, not had a chocolate biscuit for 3 weeks now 8)
I have phases were I will go the gym for a few weeks and then drop off again and become lazy  Mainly due to time and motivation.
So since my BG levels have dropped to an acceptable 'normal' I have decided to go back to the gym again.
I don't do anything particularly strenuous, just enough to get hot and sweaty.
My GP mentioned when she prescribed the sitagliptin that there is a possibility of a hypo. Now I feel, as I have been testing morning, before and 2hrs after lunch and before and 2hrs after dinner. I feel that if I were to have a hypo, it is going to be after exercise. Am I right in thinking this?
If so when do I test?
When am I likely to get low results?
Is there a real possibility of a hypo on sitagliptin?
