Hi I have a habit of thinking I'm starving have a big shot of insulin then feel sick and have to scavenge for something I can make up the carbs with that I feel I can eat sometimes I've had to have a pudding which is a real hardship lol other times I feel I can't eat much have I little bit of insulin then proceed to pick at stuff just another fork full type of thing haven't a clue how many carbs I eaten go high a get annoyed with myself both scenarios I end up high and preceded off just thought I'd share

@mahola has given a very good explanation and a "how to deal with it"

buffets ( or bitting and bobbing) are the hardest to bolus for in my experience

Bless her I'm a grown up and always have room for puds you must be very proud of her it's hard enough as an adult :)

I know the feeling you feel you will actually burst my daughter one of four has autism and when she succeeded in things I took for granted with the others I felt the same

It doesn't mean no more puds... Kacey (my daughter) often has no more room in her tummy for dinner but plenty of room for a piece of cake or ice-cream! :D

Cake and ice-cream go into a different compartment. ;)
