Hi all havnt been on for a while.Has anyone had the palmer fasciectomy operation for dupuytrens contracture?i had to go in overnight 6 weeks ago now for this operation.it was on the same left side where i had frozen shoulder (still got it but not as bad as it was)got a trapped nerve in same arm in december the pain was awful but that got better.then got my trigger thumb back in same hand!!!anyway had operation and sorry i got it cant believe what you have to go through.i thought you just went in and it fingers would be back to normal in a few days.im still in pain have to go to physio twice a week and wear a splint every night.my fingers wernt that bent but hospital doctor told me it would be ok to get this operation.has anyone had this op. and how did you get on.Thanks liz :? :?
