Awww poor Silvercat, being diabetic and getting it all right is often such a struggle and a lonely one at that, I think everyone of us here in this forum has felt like you do at one point or another.
Please try and relax over the weekend, and see your doctor or nurse first thing on Monday, dont struggle on for yet another week, as KimSuzanne says you could have an infection somewehere and not be aware of it, this happened to me a couple of times too. What are your readings like?
Being so sleepy and lethargic can also be a sign of depression, at the moment I would say just be really extra good to yourself and listen to your body, go with it, if you need to sleep then dont struggle against it, just sleep, eat some really healthy food, get yourself some really nice bubble bath, something with a citrus or very fresh smell to help cheer you up and pamper yourself, sounds to me that you have been driving yourself too hard as well, going to work feeling so rotten, my word you are certainly a fighter arent you? Spoil yourself a little bit, you have deserved it.
Maybe you have someone to take you out, even if its just a car ride, anything that you would enjoy, sometimes when I felt all ill and in despair and too tired to walk my husband would take me for a forest drive or to an animal rescue centre (I love animals a real lot) and this helped a bit even if I fell asleep in the car there and back, take a pillow and a blanket with you, maybe you dont even need it. Do some light exercise, strangely enough even if you are tired, a bit of exercise can give you a bit more energy, although if you do have an infection maybe you should wait till your doctor or nurse have given you the all clear.
Thinking of you, you are not alone, I know everyone here is hoping that you will feel better again very soon.
Love from
