field vision test

hi to every one
had to go for a vft on wedensday
optician couldent tell me if i had past test or not as wouldent comit
but i asked for a copy
which she gave me i got 104 out of 120 but all were left eye all outer edge
and three outer edge on my right not together
none in middle
but dont under stand what constitutes a fail
anyone any idieas
been driving 30yrs 12yrs with bad left eye thru retaonopathy

Martin, I'm not too sure about the results and what constitutes a pass or a fail, perhaps a Google search might be helpful here and provide the answer.

When I have my field vision checked the Optician actually tells me if he thinks all is fine, I know they are not meant to and that is a decision for the DVLA to decide but he does say nonetheless, it just a shame yours didn't give any indication but they probably don't want to get people's hopes up or dash them for that matter. I suspect I'll have to have another test in the coming weeks as I'm in the process of renewing my licence.

hi thanks i did ask if she thought i was ok in her opinion to drive
she said yes
but woulent comit her self which as you say understandable
tryed google theres loads on the subject one i found said the test is mostly for testing vision impared but as
a walking test and not fit for purpose
but as for dvla testing just say same 20 degrees + - and 120 horizotal
and clutersof three but nothing concrete
