We recently had a thread growing about low carb and fine dining restaurants. Well, for Christmas I bought hubby (and me of course!!) a Travelzoo voucher to go for the 5 course taster menu at James Sommerin's place in Penarth. Wow - 5 courses an amouse bouche and an extra dessert (tiny) and it was amazing. I just though I'd post about it because of the low carb side of things. One of the tasters was cauliflower risotto with wild mushroom, thyme and truffles and another grey mullet, spiced butter and broccoli and Guinea Fowl, Sweetcorn, Sprouts, Smoked Bacon and truffles. The puds were Fig, Nougatine, Grand Manier, Raisin and then a Chocolate pganache square, Cherry drops and Vanilla cream.
