This is good news, though, I didn't realise one needed to be deemed fit to ride competitively.

I was brought up round horses. I was never involved in competition. Just liked a "hack."
Tis true though, a "nag" can lose concentration if the rider is hypoglycemic. An interesting experience.... Lucky for me I was just on a bridle path.

Great news, but one would assume that they'd already be type 1 Jockeys racing out there.
