Went out for a training run this evening, planned as a 2km warm up - 6km at target 10k pace - 2km cool down.

Got home to find 43:50 on the clock, a PB by 25 secs - woo hoo :D

Bloody hurt though, and still a long way from my target.

Well done! 25s is a fair chunk to knock off.

I "ran" for an hour last night. Let's not talk about the distance I covered...

Thanks, we all start somewhere. I can remember when I thought a 2 mile run was a challenge.

Did 5K yesterday. Today I genuinely felt I would have benefitted from a wheelchair! I don't think the distance was the problem though, it was the hills on the route. Rested today and tried to stretch them out, back on it tomorrow!

Nice one Dave, and cheers for the info. Just discovered runsweet.com brilliant site, but I'm guessing you know about it already!
