First real week of liberal low carb - my thoughts

So I've been trying to get to this stage for a few weeks now. Came back from a short holiday on Saturday and have spent the week trying to achieve 130g per day with mixed success. My first conclusion after intensive testing at two and three hours after eating is that I can get reasonable BG readings if I can keep each meal below 50g and that lower than that is better. So my dinner carbs/ two hour readings for the six days are:

37g/6.9 55g/7.5 88g/9.6 51g/8.8 51g/8.2 43g/6.8 Average 7.97

I have similar results where I've tested breakfast and lunch, although the dinner ones seem slightly higher for the same carb.
So, as you've probably guessed, I didn't fully achieve my 130g limit, so that remains as next week's target.
Also my somewhat arbitrary target of two hour 7.0s was only achieved twice but that's a record for me so I'm quite happy overall.
Sore fingers and a lot of strips at this level but eventually I'll be able to cut down testing as I eat the same things over and over.
