People who think that all diabetics are lazy - think some education is in order :0)
hey all for this past week , whilst sat working during the week, on the laptop my eye sight has got blurry . Putting it down to staring at the screen too much I've been taken breaks as recommended.

Today I was sat watching the television and my eyes were going blurry again then I had almost like arcs of flickering lights in my eyes.
When ever I looked at my hubbie one side of him was covered in pretty colored flickering lights.

They again seem okay and this was only happening for about an hour but its happened a few times and I'm starting to worry.

I thought this sort of thing was associated with migraines but I've been fine and my last eye test showed no issues.

Any idea is it just tired eyes.

Rude people! Not being able to do the things I want to do.
Did you check your blood sugars when this happened ? It could be down to high levels.

I suggest you get an appointment with the optician again and get eyes rechecked. You can get a referral to an eye specialist if there is anything wrong.

Yep will do thanks Sue, its just worrying the life out of me - I need my sight in everything I do work, my band and my photography.

I'm in for my 6 monthly blood test on Tuesday so I'll mention it to her.

have you seen the lights before and do they tend to happen in the evening?. does your vision seem cloudy at all?. It's porbably just Migraine, but as has been suggested best to get your optician to double check and tell him your symptoms. I had cloudiness that lasted for up to an hour combined with lovely rainbows around lights. ignored it for too long and it was Acute Glaucoma! now have a slightly damaged left eye.
