Football 2025/26 Season.

Oh man on our last game when it doesn't matter we go Blast 4 past the Wombles. Now why could we not play like that when it mattered. Oh well League one again in August. Meanwhile its been swings and roundabouts for the 4th play off spot. That one goes to Stevenage I bet their fans are going mental now. Lets face it they deserve it as do our Neighbours Bradford. So t all finishes as Lincoln and Cardiff are up that leaves Stockport, Bradford, Bolton and Stevenage all to play off. I hope our Neighbours win play offs and get promoted cos they sure have worked their socks off all season unlike our shambolic lot. At the other end Exeter battled to the end but it wasn't enough and they go down. Looking at Championship we are to gain Oxford, Leicester and Sheffield Utd. By god its while since Leicester were in the 3rd Tier. That should prove very interesting next season.
@Lamont D Congratulations you survived for another season. Really pleased for you mate. Hopefully you can use the summer to build up a stronger team which is what we need to do if Big Kev throws plenty Dollars at our manager. Almost another season of comments on this thread. Just the Play offs to come later this month. We'll all have our eyes on the World Cup this summer and wouldn't it be nice if England could somehow win it on the 60th anniversary of the last England victory. Bring it on.
@zand I recon Leeds are safe now.

Sorry guys, been too busy to post.
So to catch up...
FGR stay in the National League after losing in the playoffs.

Leeds are definitely staying in the Premiership after yesterday's West Ham v Arsenal result.

I don't mind waiting 5 minutes for a VAR decision that is very important as long as they get it right. And they did.
Yesterday's trip to West Ham was awkward and difficult from start to finish. Local roadworks and no signage beforehand meant a detour. A rail replacement bus didn't arrive so we took a normal bus to Hammersmith, a few tube changes from there. And the match was awful, but I would rather have an awful match with the right result than see beautiful football with one silly mistake meaning dropping 3 points. Finally got home at 12:10 last night.

And last but definitely not least. Arsenal are in the champions League Final. Budapest here we come! Don't have a hope of winning lol but we will be there and at least Harry Kane won't be scoring the winner against us... :)

And Speaking of Bradford they lost the first leg 1-0 to Bolton and Stevenage beat Stockport by the same score. 2nd Legs are played Thursday for Bradford and Bolton and Wednesday for Stockport and Stevenage. My money if I was a gambler which I'm not would be on Bolton and Stevenage final with a win for Bolton. Hoping our Rivals Bradford win and get promoted. Keep it Yorkshire. All will be revealed soon.

Getting revved up for the World cup now. England take on Croatia on 17th June followed by Ghana on 23rd and finally Panama on 27th. Wonder how far we'll get this time.

Bradford take on Bolton tonight. Winner faces Stockport at Wembley on 24th May. I'll side with Bradford even though they are our Neighbours and rivals but they have had a great season and certainly put us to shame. It would be nice if they could win outright and go up. Do it for the 56 fans that lost their lives 41 years ago. Up the Bantams.

Things are hotting up in the Prem now. City have the chance to put the pressure on Arsenal tonight. meanwhile at the other end Spurs have a chance to put Wet Spam all they need do is draw and it's all over for Wet Spam. I think it's all over now though but the fat lady hasn't sung yet lol.

Well done Arsenal the champions. Oh my goodness spurs lost so it's all on Sunday now. Wet spam need to win and hope spurs loose. A tall order but can be done.
