Hi I've just replaced my sensor as the first 14 days were up. I had to log onto the app again, but the libre app on my phone says apply and scan new sensor but nothing happens?
I don't have much success scanning as phone and sensor don't always want to talk to each other.
Have I done something wrong or does it take longwr than an hour to re boot?

When you apply a new sensor, you need to scan it with your phone.
Once you have scanned it, the phone will count down the hour until it is ready.
You need to line up the NFC chip with your sensor. Some phones are easier than others.

Sounds to me as if you have not scanned our new sensor.

Hi, some phones have the NFC antenna either near the camera lens or just below it. Some phones have the NFC antenna as part of the battery in the battery compartment down one side at the back of the phone? (Older Samsungs.)

You should hear an R2D2 like Bee beep when its located. Then three cheesy electronic beeps like a C chord triad? When the communication is there..

Here is a vid..

Thank you
I turned phone off and tried again, this time with success so now countdown has started. I don't understand why despite kniwing where NFC is it doesn't always connect, very frustrating but hopefully as new to this it'll get better with time.

I'll be honest with you. I use an independent app that sets it up like a CGM.

But i still use the Libre app too. In both cases starting or scanning the sensor, i need to keep my phone (All three phones to date I've had.) touching the sensor.? (Flat on..) Then listen out for that 1980s "video game" thing on the Libre app.
