Yes I use one to keep Byetta cold. They keep it under 25C. I used mine in temperatures of 40C this summer and it did the job. I popped a small fridge thermometer in with it just to keep an eye on it. You cannot expect it to keep things in refridgerated temperatures though 2 - 8C. They need reactivating in cold water for a few minutes every couple of days.
