I was diagnosed with GD at 10weeks, some say this is quite early, Dr said it may be that I was diabetic before getting preg and only finding out now but we are treating it as GD.
I am on Metformin 1000mg per day, i am now 19 weeks preg.
The metformin are making me feel really sick with awful stomach cramps, does this affect baby?
What is the stress test i have heard about? will i get one? when ?

I am quite good at controlling my levels, i use the prick test 4 times a day and 95% of the time my levels are normal. I havent gained any weight, actually lost a few pounds prob due to diet, is this ok?
Was wondering will these cramps go away in a while ?
Is anyone else experiencing any bad symptons with metformin?
I am really worried about how the medicaion might affect the baby
