No seriously, you know in your heart the answer and I guess you are trying to make a point to your 'child' but this is something they have to come to terms with. All you can do is support and encourage them to do the right things, they really have to find their own way of dealing, even if that means that they get it wrong at the beginning. There are lots of stories on here of people who have fallen off the wagon big time but eventually come to terms with their illness. Good luck and try not to worry too much.
