Hi
Having recently been put on Insulin, I have a question to ask, I have to keep this refrigerated, so my question is how do I travel abroad to a hot country with this?

Hi

Insulin keeps well at room temperature for at least a month, so if your trip is shorter than that, no need for refrigerating!
If you go somewhere very hot, you could use a Frio pouch, which ensures the insulin doesn't get too warm.

I've just been to Cyprus. My room had fridge and as I advised it was only for my insulin and water I didn't have to pay. I put everything in my hand luggage. No problems. But if I had no fridge was planning in keeping it in bathroom as coolest place.

As @Antje77 mentioned, it does not need to be kept in a fridge. In fact, injecting insulin straight out of the fridge is more likely to sting. This is why it is recommended to keep your in use insulin pen at room temperature.
When travelling, I always have a spare pen which I keep in my room (but not fridge) and, when I get home, return it to the fridge subtracting the time away form the period in which I have left to use it when I nest take it out.
I do NOT trust hotel fridges for my insulin.
