Hi Folks,
Just had to shout about Andrews latest Hbac1. His last one 6wks ago was 10.0, and we weren't very happy about that. Now it's down to 9.3. It was bloody hard work and bless him he took it all in his stride. We reduced carbs slightly and he also added a 5th injection into his routine as his Levemir runs out at 4pm, and splitting it just didn't seem viable. It has stabilized his daily bs readings and i can't wait for 5th January to see a bigger improvement (hopefully)

With 12 wks to his next Hbac1, we are hoping to shave at least a full 1.0, though with Christmas inbetween, that might be a little unrealistic, but we can try.
His dietitian scolded him for snacking too much, he can't help it, he loves to graze, plus a little telling off re his injection sites, Andrew gets too comfortable doing the same area all the time.
But give him his dues, he took on board the constructive critisism and the drawings all over his legs and tummy, and is determined to do better. I'm so proud of him.
