Going off insulin

    I was put on insulin a few months ago. I ballooned. My own fault I know but I was powerless against it for reasons I won't bore you with. Anyway, not long after I thought I couldn't carry on like this and went off insulin. It's not for me. I'm big enough without it. I occasionally fast, eat a bit better but not enough to make a difference. I'm currently on day 8 of day 6 of the Newcastle diet. Any tips. I'm frustrated as I did it before without any fuss.
