Good Social groups for a young diabetic in london?

Hi everyone

I'm newly diagnosed 26 year old with type 2 diabetes and looking to use this as a great way to meet people in a similar situation. Are there any groups in london that are good for young people with diabetes?

I am a Diabetes UK volunteer and know that there are groups out there doing online Zoom meetings but type 2 groups tend to be dominated by older people even though there are younger and younger people getting this diagnosis. In London there will be many diagnosed or pre diabetic in your age bracket so you're in the right place. Go to the Diabetes UK site for listing of London groups. I know most groups are on Zoom for now though I meet my own lot informally in gardens and doing walks (I am middle aged type 1).
What social media do you use? Could you set up your own vlog/blog to get the ball rolling and describe how your diagnosis has been and how you're handling things? Could help someone like you later on at the very least.
