    HbA1c now 41 after 3 months on reduced dose of Metformin and slightly less disciplined eating.

    Happy with that.

    3 photos, the first two are exactly a year apart to the minute , 3 stone lighter and a body that is convinced that it’s no longer diabetic.

    3rd photo shows the weight loss better after a run on the same morning.

    Diabetic nurse agrees and we are stopping the Metformin 9 months after I first started it.

    Fantastic progress by the incredible shrinking man. So much hard work and discipline goes on to produce photos like those. Top, top man.

    Thank you ianpspurs and coby for your kind words.

    I’ve just run 15k earlier today in 1:34:54, while testing a Libre 2 CGM and training for a 1/2 marathon in October.

    With a knee injury from about mid May to end of July , I thought I was going to have to cancel it, but it might just still be within grasp, we will have to see how the next 6 weeks go.
