Arrived Tuesday and appear to be essentially the same as previous A1CNow kit that was £99 for 4 tests, this is £129 for 10.

 

HbA1c now 41 after 3 months on reduced dose of Metformin and slightly less disciplined eating.

Happy with that.

 

3 photos, the first two are exactly a year apart to the minute , 3 stone lighter and a body that is convinced that it’s no longer diabetic.

3rd photo shows the weight loss better after a run on the same morning.

Diabetic nurse agrees and we are stopping the Metformin 9 months after I first started it.

I’ve just run 15k earlier today in 1:34:54, while testing a Libre 2 CGM and training for a 1/2 marathon in October.

With a knee injury from about mid May to end of July , I thought I was going to have to cancel it, but it might just still be within grasp, we will have to see how the next 6 weeks go.

 

Managed the Silverstone 1/2 marathon on 10th October with a time of 2:11:44.

Enjoyed it so much I did the Liverpool RocknRoll 1/2 marathon two weeks later in 2:09:23.

Registered for the Manchester full Marathon next year.
