Following the success of our event in Ealing back in May, the North West London Diabetes Local Research Network is hosting a second event, this time in Hammersmith.

Saturday September 8, 10am-1pm
Lyric Theatre, Lyric Square, King Street, London, London W6 0QL

* FREE diabetes health checks with diabetes research specialist nurses
* Find out about the diabetes services and support groups available in Hammersmith
* Meet the NWL Diabetes Local Research Network team and find out how you can get involved in clinical research to find better ways to treat diabetes - or even a cure.

Hi Danielle

I hope that you are having a good response to the event. It would be good to see an increase in members of this forum getting involved with research. Look forward to seeing you at this week's focus group if it goes ahead.

Regards

Thanks for the vote of support, Doug!

And it would be really great to see more forum members involved in research (and not just taking part in studies). People like you and IanD make such a valuable contribution in developing research ideas that we'd love even more of you! There's more info about what we do on our website, www.northwestlondondlrn.org.uk.

In the meantime, I look forward to seeing lots of local London residents at the Hammersmith event. We've got experts on all aspects of diabetes, including neuropathy, taking part as well as advice on what support is available in the area. See you there!

Thanks for the mention. I've been helped by the forum & feel I should stay around & help others.

Sorry I can't be there - I shall be engaged at our church for the 10 year services for our Pastor.
