Type 2 Heel cracks

I have been quite neglectful of things lately. Anyway with the warm weather I started wearing sandals etc. I knew my heels were getting dry but last Saturday I noticed a few cracks and my heels were very dry. I got some creams which I have been applying since and have to say that the skin looks a lot better and softer but I have one crack that seems bit big and has not healed yet. There is no blood or anything coming out of it. Any suggestions what else I could try? Thanks in advance

Thanks. Wonder if anyone can tell me how long did the cracks take to heal. I am thinking of going to see the doctor next week as the heel sometimes feel a bit painful
