I'm Rod, 62, and recently retired. I have been a 'type 2' for nine years controlling with diet alone for three years and on medication for the last six. Having lost weight I recently dropped Cliclazide with Nurse's knowledge. Now two weeks into Dr Clarke's diet and already seeing benefits. Still puzzled by some highs and lows in blood sugar levels after all this time :?

Rude people! Not being able to do the things I want to do.
Hi Rod,welcome to the forum. Are these regular highs and lows? Have you tried keeping a food diary over a period of time to see if you can isolate these?

Hello Sue

I suspect my lows were due to over medication and the highs due to my lack of understanding of carbs. Dr Clarke's diet has helped me understand and taken my before meal blood sugars from 7+ to the 4s. It going well :D

Work is not good for the health! More time and oportunity now to look after my self.

Rod
