Sadly my co-workers are currently using Home and Away as their primary source of information regarding my diabetes.
Good times.

Fantastic - can't wait for the assumptions and comparisons.

At least as a soap opera, they have to try to address the issue seriously. Imagine how Homer Simpson would deal with T1 diabetes (or has that already been done?)

Lack of choice of insulin for newly diagnosed patients.
Dog owners who let their dogs poop in the street-a hazard for most, but worse if you're visually impaired!
Having RP
Not surprised Ruby went hypo- have u ever see her carrying her bag of kit with her??
Sadly, never seen diabetes portrayed in a realistic way on telly. Hollyoaks did it a few years ago, Dan was diagnosed-then don't recall it being mentioned again!
Let's hope the same doesn't happen in Home & Away. However it they rush her to hospital everytime she has a hypo, we'll all be a bit bored! LOL Does anyone suspect "Jelly Belly" will soon be sponsoring Home & Away?!
