Thought it just stated the bleeding obvious as do most dumbed down BBC science programs nowadays.
It started off posing the real interesting question "Why have loads of people got obese in the last 20 years?" and then never answered it.
Seems obvious that if you have a gene that makes you want to eat by influencing what you think and how you feel and that gene gets switched on by something you get fat. If you then manage to have something done that switches the gene back off again then you'll get thin again!
What it made very little reference about is why that gene is being switched on more and more in the last 20 years and what should be done about it.
I'm still digesting it all (sorry ). Didn't hear "calories in/calories out" or "eat less and do more" very much, but did hear "genes" and "hormones" quite a lot.
The first 10 minutes made me very, very hungry indeed.
