How much do you spend on keto diet?

Are you saving? I seem to spend a lot more on my weekly food shop but save a lot more by not buying my extra large pizza every week. My lists seem to be a lot larger with more staple ingredients and I shop at tescos now rather than Aldi. Probably spend about £25 on average

I can't say I find it more expensive at all. This could be because I am eating a lot less, so saving on that.

I've never bought ready meals, pizzas or similar as they have never floated my boat, and have hardly ever drunk colas or pop, so nothing to save there.

Fish and chips is the only takeaway I've ever had, but now I don't have the chips (or only 3 or 4 stolen from hubby). A small saving.

No more biscuits or shop bought fruit pies, so savings there.

All in all, I really haven't noticed a difference, but the food shop is more expensive than yours.

I have not seen a great increase in my shopping bill, all things considered. I was never a great takeaway lover, I prefer to widen my menu by learning how to cook authentic meals at home. My lists have changed, though. I buy far more vegetables and berries, and new stuff has been added but old stuff like white bread, crumpets etc have become strictly verboten. Nuts have replaced crisps, greek yoghurt has replaced ice cream so all in all no real change. I still have to shop for the family but I am gradually replacing their carb rich treats for a healthier diet (this may take a fair while as they are not diabetic and are completely different i.e they are young, fit men who are sporty). I have to be honest, I would like to try making tart pastry using almond flour but they do not sell it locally and prices on line are prohibitive.

Much less spent on current LCHF/Keto than previously on rubbish foods (now there's an oxymoron for you), take-aways and beer. Plus, because of the massive improvements in my health, fitmess and overall well-being, cost is hardly a factor worth considering

It's possible to make pastry using ground almonds, mine was from Tesco, but it's probably cheaper from Aldi or Lidl. The changes I've made to the weekly shop are much the same as yours,as MrMac is happy to eat LC food, although not diabetic.Like you when sporty grandsons visit I tend to have to cook different meals.Still working on that one!!

I spend much less on my food. Protein ( lots cooked in bulk) avocado, mayo, veggies and nuts. That's about it.

It HUSBANDS food bill that isn't cheap haha

We now get most of our food from Aldi, some weeks I go to Tesco to stock on herbs etc that Aldi does not have. We are now spending less than before we went "low carb", but as my wife does not like liver or kidneys it is more costly than if I was just cooking for myself.

Much about the same as it was before. I spend more on ingredients such as coconut flour and ground almonds and much less on snacks.
