T1......29 years old (3 years ago now). Everyone knew but me apparently! Doctor at the time suggested it either happened during a viral infection or a prolonged period of stress (which seems more likely when i think back to the job i had at the time!)

32 last march, almost been a year now.type 1. Knew I had it after a google search had all symptoms, was expecting to be on tablets as was ignorant to the whole thing. Was put on insulin. Hey ho life goes on, hasn't really stopped me doing anything. If anything Im more healthy as watch what I eat, do more gym and don't drink cider much anymore. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App
