Hypurin Porcine 30/70 insulin

I have been on this insulin the 30/70 mix Hypurin Porcine for three weeks now and my blood sugar levels have never been as bad. five nights on the trot I have been up in the early hours with lo blood sugars. I also find on an evening it can get high then without any warning it lowers itself. Its really weird, What I want to know is, does anyone else have any trouble with this type of insulin?

Most people have problem on mixes you need to feed the insulin.
Do you have a snack before bed if not do so.
Even better ask for the insulin in 2 seperate vials so you can have your bolus and basal requirements sorted out out seperatly.
I use bovine insulin and do this Just make sure you put the neutral insulin in the syring 1st. Also learn to carb count and adjust your insulin acordingly. This way life will be so much simpler for you.
