I don't know what to do

As I have said previously I've had a medtronic pump since January.
I thought it was going to be the answer to getting my bg down to an acceptable level. I currently have 35 units an hour going through the pump which is the maximum the pump will allow and I'm also 'bolusing' 10 units an hour to try to get my bg down.
The thing I am in a quandry about is thus. My bg's are still at 28 and I'm also having to bolus 2.5 units per gram of carb. Is it worth trying to perservere with the pump?

Out of my mind,
