ronaldo, type 2 never becomes type 1 and vice versa, any questions u have just keep asking

Thank you. My sister is type 1 and was diagnosed almost exactly a year ago (Jan '08).

Ronaldo ,in the time that you are waiting to see your doctor again,if you become unwell please get to see doctor asap.It is probably type 2 but it would not be the first time a type 1 had been misdiagnosed!!Don't want to worry you ,just to warn you give that there is history of type 1 in your family.

Ronaldo,
as Sue said, things can go wrong fast in T1 diabetes,but to be sure which you have, ask your doctor for a c-peptide test.that can usually sort it out.
