I posted a lot here during my last pregnancy a couple of years ago, and I'm pregnant again, so officially diabetic again too!

I'm hoping that I'll have a better handle on the diet this time and avoid insulin this time. Omlettes and salad here I come...

Hi Dipsy - welcome back.

Expecting again eh? I thought you would have worked out what causes it by now, like you did with the diabetes!!

Thank you!

You would have thought we had learnt by now. Maybe we'll have to watch more TV after this next baby, or something. (This is baby number seven by the way!)

The cricket bat juice doesn't seem to have done much to help, going by my results after a couple of bits of bread, so it doesn't look like I've cracked that one either.

I've just had an HbA1c of 5.3, at 28 weeks, so I'm well pleased! I'm still hoping to avoid insulin - but I'm getting a bit sick of salads and omlettes.

Try chicken salad for a change :)
