I've read a lot of articles and I am still unsure. I have so many questions. I began to get concerned when I urinated more often than I've ever known anyone around me to. It became somewhat of a problem, like I couldn't make it through a movie without going to the restroom an excessive amount of times. Im constantly thirsty like I havent had water all day. All I drink is water when I'm thirsty. I can chug a case of water like no business and still be thirsty yet with a stomach ache. Those are really the 2 main concerns that lead me to believe I may have diabetes.thirsty I know that I should see a doctor but that isn't financially a possibility at the moment. I don't know anyone who could relate to what I'm describing so I've come here. Anything helps. Thank you.

Hi @Unsurerlly

Which country are you from?

If you are not in a position to get to a doctor, there should be someone who would help you at a pharmacy maybe.

Only tests can give you the answers you are looking for.
But you do need to do something because extreme thirst and urination needs to be sorted.

Let us know how you get on.

Hi there - sounds like your in the US ? (use of 'washrooms' and payment for medical treatment taken as clues).

You need to get a blood glucose monitor to test yourself if you think you have diabetes, do you know anyone who has diabetes who can do a test for you ?

Here are some classic symptoms of type 1 (insulin dependent diabetes), r on the extreme thirst (which you have), constant need to urinate, possible thrush (due to high BG), weight loss, blurred eyesight, feeling really flat/lethargic, deep/heavy breathing with ketone breath so smelling of pears. The onset is very sudden so within a few days you can feel extremely poorly and will require medical assistance/hospital and insulin injections asap.

Type 2 also has extreme thirst and urinating, however onset can take weeks/months, but will require treatment as soon as it's picked up.

Either way you need to get medical help to know for sure, good luck ;)
