Insulin and weight gain

With regards to insulin and weight gain is it better to take a higher dose of levimer and smaller doses of novo rapid with each meal? Or if carb counting therefore smaller doses of novo rapid needed anyway is it better then to take less levimer and increase carb/bolus ratio to keep levels in normal range?

Or is this a silly question as the total insulin intake will still b the same? Just something I can't get my head around atm xx

Hi, everyone is different if your unsure talk to your dsn or gp before making any changes to br on the safe side, onky take the amount of fast acting as you neex otherwise there's risk of going hypo, as for changing you basal dose that fomes wuth knowing how your body reacts to insulin and might take a bit of time. So if your not sure it wont hurt to ask for advice from your dsn or gp
