What is BG short for and I've not tried anything on her. She said it started on Thursday when i saw her at school.Difficult to say on a forum. Have you tried your BG meter on your friend ? I would tell her to go see doc as we cannot diagnose here.

I just figured out what BG meant (As i'm diabetic type 1 myself)BG is short for blood glucose or sometimes known as blood sugar levels-do you have a Lloyds chemist shop near you? if so they could check her blood quickly and for free and if there's a high reading they can refer her to the doctor.
You're T1 diabetes ? Can't you test your friends blood glucose level with your meter ?e

yes i do have T1 its, 8:30pm around here and i'm busy at weekend so cant see her at the weekendYou're T1 diabetes ? Can't you test your friends blood glucose level with your meter ?
yep thanksOK. Well you mentioned you see her at school so you could do it Mon or I would tell her to visit her own doc, probably both !
Certainly sounds like she has all the classical symptoms, so a visit to a doctor would seem in order.
Because she lives far away from the doctors she goes to and is visually impairedTest your friends level Mon and go from there. Nobody on a forum can diagnose. Your BG meter will be a good indicator but they still need to see a doc. If parents can't take to doc, why can't she go herself ?
yep thanks for awnsering question quicklyOK, difficult to offer suitable advice then. Hopefully her parents will take her when they can, even if it's Half Term.
