Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows about this on a personal level. It has been suggested to me by my consultant as a possibility, I've looked up the general info online but would really like to know something about living with it.

People that can't listen to other people's opinions.
People that can't say sorry.
Lasts about 3 years, thats about as much as I know. Oh yes,-and hypo unawareness is a thing of the past.

A relative of mine used to do these transplants in Scotland, but has now moved to Malta to set up a tissue bank for the Maltese people.

Was there anything in particular that concerns you?

No, from what I've read it seems great I just wanted to get the personal view and a bit more info about the side effects of the immune-suppressants, which I understand can be pretty awful.

If you have specific questions I can email my cousin in Malta...
