Just to say thank you to whoever posted about celeriac mash. Made my first shepherds pie yesterday, (mince, onions, carrots,peas and celeriac mash), and really enjoyed it. It is the first time I have dared to have this all time favorite for a while , and since that works it means fish pie is back on the menu too. One celeriac has made a shepherds pie and a stew for 2. Am now looking to see what else can be done with it. By the way hubby never even noticed the difference!!! No taste buds left, the curry got em all. :lol: :lol: :lol:

JumbleAnnie try this recipe, it goes with just about anything, roasts, sausages, couple of fried eggs, http://shelikesherfood.wordpress.com/20 ... uphinoise/ although I found that i needed to cook it for 30 mins longer than the recipe stated.
