Hi all,
The whole diabetes thing is getting me confused slightly so thought I would post something on here and see if anyone can help me to understand what is happening.
I had a fasting blood test yesterday. By the time I got to the doctors I felt pretty rough and had the shakes and slightly dizzy. This is not unusual if I don't eat, it happens fairly often.
This morning is a normal morning where I eat and will quite easily drink 2 bottles of lucozade, chocolate etc! Thing is I'm now feeling slightly rough which is unusual but I normally got through bottles and bottles of either lucozade a day.
Now this is where I'm getting confused. I can't understand the difference in symptoms between hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia? I understand that one is caused by too high blood sugar and one is caused by low blood sugar but I don't really know which one I could be? Or is it a case of you might get the shakes and dizzyness with either and only a blood test would determine which way round this could be if either?
Thanks all.
