Cracking read, congrats. That's one in the eye for the establishment and who knows how many unaware diabetics it may help?

Excellent Jamrox . The advice I have read in the forum's had helped me a lot. In 12 months I have lost 2 stone and my waist size has gone from a 44 inch to a 36 inch. This has been done by changing what I eat, portion control and a 30 minute fast walk every day. Weekends is slower as the kids come with me.
I have been type 2 diabetic for 7 years and the first years my bloods were all over the place. They are now an average of 6.2 mols.
I eat a lot healthier, and I can now keep up with my young children.
I have also a very good diabetic team at my local gp's, which has also helped.

    Michael

Long time no see, brettsza. How are you doing all this time after your ND?

Apologies for the diversion from topic. :(

    Way to go @Jamrox!
How about a bit of a mention here for your exercise / activity encouraging threads?
They have certainly helped me to get moving, and were invaluable to me last year to help improve mobility after a very long period of illness.
    Thank you!
